july 2007 is marked by a very
odd event in Parentis en Born = The Aquatic Fairy. On the lake, a dozen illuminated flowerboats float to the rhythm of a beautiful « Son et Lumière » show. This unique evening begins with a traditional country meal along the beach and ends with a free ball. |
| The town music school is placed under the control of National Music School and provides a first rate teaching sanctioned by national diplomas. |

Ten specialised teachers follow
music learning and instrument practice (clarinet, horn, flute, guitar, oboe, percussion
instruments, saxophone, trombone, trumpet, and tuba). The school trains any child or adult who wants to play for pleasure into the young orchestra, the town orchestra or the Banda « Lous Pegaillouns », as well as those who want to follow the academy of music lessons |
