Parentis is a little town with 4,684 inhabitants situated in what we call Pays de Born in the area of the great Landes Lakes.

The town, the chief town of the district, is equidistant to:
• the region’s capital,
Bordeaux, 50 miles to the North;
• the Prefecture,
Mont-de-Marsan, 50 miles to the East;
